Load Persistence Data Error In Battlefield 2042

Battlefield

If you encounter the “Unable to Load Persistent Data” error while playing Battlefield 2042, there are a couple of steps you can take to resolve the issue.

Although it was initially believed to be caused by a problem with the EA servers, the following two steps may help to fix the problem.

Firstly, try rebooting your console and performing a hard reset. If this solution works, then you’re all set. However, if it doesn’t, try the second step below. Go to your game settings and disable cross-play. It’s that simple! As soon as you do this, you should be able to play the game without any issues.

This worked for me, so hopefully, it will work for you too!

UPDATE

Try clearing the cache and any saved data from the beta or early access, and turn off cross-play still to reduce the chances of it occurring again. It seems crazy that in 2024 this issue is still occurring!
